Therapeutic Services

Family Support Night

Gatherings held every first Tuesday of each month. This is an interactive program for the entire family. Guest speakers are invited to address parents/caregivers on current issues, treatments, developments and advances with childhood cancer. Children are separated from the parents ad spend time performing arts and crafts, playing games, and socializing with other children.

Adolescent Young Adults Program

A program designed to serve our AYA population. This program offers enhanced services specifically for our clients ages 13-25 years old. The program includes a monthly support group, annual retreat, monthly events, and more. We want our young adults to know they are not alone and that they matter.

Workshops

Provided to our families by our case manager or other community professionals. Valuable information is passed on to our parents to help them cope and manage this stressful situation. Educational Workshops are conducted to help reduce the stress and strain on the family and their marriage.

Remember Always

A weekend retreat to provide information to individuals who have lost a child to a catastrophic illness, such as cancer. For many parents, life after the child’s death is unbearable; thus, we explore techniques and activities that help living with mechanisms with a group who has gone through the same thing, promoting many different effective ways of living beyond the death of their child.

Wellness Room

Relaxation room available to all our parents. This room is also set up with books, educational material on the different types of cancer, and a computer for their use. The room contains a relaxation chair available to our parents and our teens, used to help relieve some of their daily stress.

We are here for you.
